As of November 1, 2026, the Essential Chats app has been discontinued. We're a small, independent team, and every download, subscription, and kind note meant more to us than we can say. Thank you for supporting small developers and for being part of this journey with us.

Subscriptions on Google Play (Android)

All subscriptions have been cancelled, and no further charges will be made. Annual subscribers received a pro-rated refund for the unused part of their subscription, returned to the original payment method through Google Play.

Subscriptions on the App Store (iPhone)

Apple handles App Store refunds directly. To request one, go to reportaproblem.apple.com:

1. Sign in with the Apple ID used for the subscription
2. Select Request a refund
3. Select Service is no longer available as the reason
4. Locate Essential Chats and click Submit

The app on your phone

The app no longer connects to our servers, so you can safely uninstall it.
